Privacy Policy Universal Motion Detector Elite Publisher: RT Apps Last updated: July 21, 2026 Overview This policy describes how Universal Motion Detector Elite (“the App”) handles information when you use it on Windows. By using the App, you agree to this policy. Information the App uses Camera The App accesses your webcam to detect motion. Video is processed on your device. We do not operate a server that receives your live camera stream. Images and local files If motion is detected, the App may save images, logs, or short clip frames in your device’s app local storage (and folders you choose when you export or save files). Those files stay on your device unless you send them somewhere else using features you turn on. Optional features you configure If you enable them, the App may send alert-related data to services you set up: Feature What may be sent Email alerts Alert details and image attachments Webhooks Event text, time, camera id Discord Alert message text IFTTT Event values you configure We do not control those third parties. Their privacy policies apply to data they receive. Purchases In-app purchases (for example Remove Ads or Premium) are processed by the Microsoft Store. Payment and Store account data are handled by Microsoft under their policies. Ads (free tier) If ads are shown, the App may open links to partner sites (for example SquidSec-related sites) when you tap an ad. Those sites have their own privacy policies. Ads are hidden if you remove ads or unlock Premium. App diagnostics The App may write local diagnostic files (for example crash logs) on your device to help troubleshoot problems. Those files are not automatically uploaded to us. Information we do not collect The publisher does not require you to create an account in the App for basic use, and does not run a backend that collects your camera feed, email password, or alert history by default. Note: Email/SMTP passwords and similar secrets you enter are stored in app configuration on your device so the App can send alerts. Protect your device and prefer app passwords where your email provider supports them. Permissions The App may request: - Webcam – motion detection - Internet – email, webhooks, Discord, IFTTT, opening help/ad links, Store features Data retention and deletion Local images, logs, history, and settings remain until you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall the App. Uninstalling removes the App’s local data on that device (per Windows behavior). Data you already sent to email, Discord, IFTTT, or other services must be managed with those providers. Children’s privacy The App is not directed at children under 13. Do not use it to collect personal information from children. Security We design the App so sensitive processing stays on your device when possible. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. Use strong device sign-in and app passwords for email. Your choices You can: - Deny camera access (motion features will not work) - Leave email, webhooks, Discord, and IFTTT off - Avoid saving/exporting images - Remove ads or unlock Premium to change ad behavior - Uninstall the App and/or clear app data Changes We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
