Screen Mirroring Receiver ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our software to mirror your iPhone screen to your PC via AirPlay.

1. Information We Collect
   - Device Information: We may collect basic information about your PC device, such as device model, operating system, and network type, solely for the purpose of providing screen mirroring functionality. This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
   - No Personal Data: We do not collect personal information such as your name, email, or Apple ID.
   - Screen Content: Your screen content is not transmitted to our servers; it stays between your iPhone and PC over your local network.

2. How We Use Information
   - To enable and optimize the AirPlay screen mirroring experience.
   - To troubleshoot technical issues and improve app performance.

3. Local Network Discovery
   - To allow your iPhone to find the receiver, the app advertises a Bonjour/mDNS service on your local network and accepts incoming AirPlay connections. No discovery data leaves your local network, and we do not collect or transmit it.

4. Recording (Optional)
   - If you choose to use the built-in recording feature, the recorded video and audio are written only to a local folder that you select. Recorded files are never uploaded to us or to any third party.
   - You are solely responsible for the recorded files, including their storage, sharing, and deletion. The app does not access or modify recordings outside of the folder you have chosen.

5. Diagnostic Logs
   - The app writes local diagnostic logs (e.g., connection events, errors) to a folder on your PC to help you and us troubleshoot issues. You can open this folder from Settings > Debug.
   - These logs are stored only on your device. They are not transmitted to us automatically. If you choose to send a log file to us for support, you do so voluntarily and only the file you send will be received.

6. Data Sharing
   - We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.
   - Your screen data, recordings, and logs are not uploaded to any external servers.

7. Security
   - We implement reasonable measures to protect your device information and screen mirroring data.
   - All mirroring, recording, and logging happens locally on your PC and iPhone; we do not store your screen content, recordings, or logs on any server.

8. Third-Party Services
   - Our app uses system-level AirPlay protocols, Windows Media Foundation for recording, and bundled open-source components (e.g., FFmpeg for decoding) that run entirely on your device. We do not collect data through these components.

   - We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. The updated version will be posted in the app and at this URL, with a revised "Effective Date".
