Privacy Policy for Image2LaTeX

1. Data Collection and Usage
Image2LaTeX ("the App") accesses your system clipboard only when you explicitly trigger the conversion action via the designated hotkeys. The App reads the image data from the clipboard solely for the purpose of converting it into LaTeX or HTML code.

2. Third-Party Services
To perform the conversion, the App may send the captured image data to Google's Gemini API, depending on the conversion mode you select. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy regarding how they handle the data sent to their API.

3. Data Storage
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to the developer's servers. Your configuration data, including your Gemini API key and local save directory paths, are stored locally on your device (in the AppData folder) and are never transmitted to the developer.

4. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the App's store listing.
