1. Overview
Transifyr is a desktop application for real-time speech translation. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your data.

2. Data We Collect
Audio Data: Audio is captured locally on your device and streamed directly to third-party speech-to-text providers (Soniox) for transcription. We do not store or retain your audio data on our servers.
License Information: When you activate a license, we collect your email address, a hashed device identifier, and platform information solely for license verification purposes.
Usage Data: For Transifyr Cloud STT users, we track session duration to manage service credits. No speech content is stored.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect, store, or sell your transcripts or translations.
We do not collect personal browsing data, contacts, or location.
We do not use analytics or tracking within the desktop application.

4. Third-Party Services
Transifyr integrates with the following third-party services. Their respective privacy policies apply:
・Soniox (Speech-to-Text): https://soniox.com/privacy
・Google Translate, DeepL, OpenAI, Google Gemini (Translation/AI): Used only when selected by the user.
・ElevenLabs, Google Cloud TTS (Text-to-Speech): Used only when enabled by the user.
・Polar.sh (Payment processing): For license purchases.

5. Data Storage
Transcripts are saved locally on your device only. They are never uploaded to our servers.
License keys and settings are stored locally on your device.
Our license server stores only: email, hashed device ID, license key, and activation status.

6. Data Security
We use HTTPS encryption for all server communications. API keys entered by users are stored locally and never transmitted to our servers.

7. Children's Privacy
Transifyr is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at https://transifyr.app.
