# BOOST Broadcast Toolkit privacy policy Last updated: July 21, 2026 BOOST Broadcast Toolkit is a local Windows broadcast-production application published by Michael Heinzman. It does not require a BOOST account and does not include developer-operated advertising, analytics, or telemetry. ## Data stored on your device BOOST stores application settings and reusable broadcast data on the device where it is installed. This may include team names, colors and logos; player names and platform identifiers; player camera URLs; sponsor names and media; overlay selections; and the current broadcast configuration. Settings backups are created only when the user requests an export. ## Network and local connections BOOST receives gameplay information from the Rocket League Stats API on the local computer and serves its control and overlay output through localhost ports 3000 and 3001. The app may connect to third-party services when an operator configures a remote camera or media URL, opens an external documentation link, or checks for an application update. Microsoft Store builds receive updates through Microsoft Store. Direct-download builds may check the project's GitHub release feed. Any third-party site or media service reached through a URL supplied by the user has its own privacy practices. BOOST does not send saved broadcast libraries to the publisher. ## Control and deletion Users can edit or delete saved library entries in the application, reset the active broadcast, manage exported backup files, or remove locally stored application data by uninstalling BOOST and deleting any retained application-data folder. Removing a user-configured remote URL stops BOOST from loading that resource. ## Children and sensitive information BOOST is a production utility and is not directed to children. Do not enter sensitive personal information into team, player, sponsor, event, or camera fields. ## Changes and contact This policy may be updated when BOOST's data handling changes. The current policy date will appear at the top of this page. Privacy questions can be sent through the publisher contact method shown on the BOOST Microsoft Store listing. ## Third-party notice Portions of the materials used are trademarks and/or copyrighted works of Epic Games, Inc.
