Mystrix Launcher Privacy Policy

Mystrix Launcher is a desktop application used to access, manage, synchronize, and launch Mystrix game experiences.

Information we may process

Mystrix Launcher may process information necessary to provide its functionality, including:

Mystrix account username and account identifier.
Authentication information required to sign in to a Mystrix account.
Minecraft/Microsoft account information provided through the official Microsoft authentication flow, such as Minecraft profile name and profile identifier.
Application and game instance permissions associated with the user account.
Technical information required to operate the launcher, including application version, instance configuration, synchronization status, and diagnostic information.
Connection information necessary for communication between the launcher and Mystrix services.

Microsoft account authentication

When a user chooses to sign in with a Microsoft account, authentication is performed through Microsoft's official authentication services.

Mystrix Launcher does not ask users to provide their Microsoft account password directly and does not store Microsoft account passwords.

Authentication tokens and account information are used only as necessary to authenticate the user and provide launcher functionality.

Mystrix accounts

Users may also use a Mystrix account to access content made available to them. Account information is used to authenticate the user, determine access permissions, and provide assigned game instances and related content.

How information is used

Information processed by Mystrix Launcher is used to:

Authenticate users.
Provide access to authorized Mystrix game instances.
Synchronize required game files and configurations.
Maintain account and instance permissions.
Launch and manage supported Minecraft experiences.
Diagnose technical problems and improve application reliability.
Protect Mystrix services against unauthorized access or abuse.

Data sharing

Mystrix does not sell users' personal information.

Information may be transmitted to service providers when required to provide functionality, including Microsoft authentication services and infrastructure used to operate Mystrix services.

Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or when necessary to protect users, Mystrix services, or other parties.

Data storage and security

Mystrix uses reasonable technical measures to protect account and application information against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate Mystrix services, maintain account access, meet security requirements, and comply with applicable obligations.

Local application data

Mystrix Launcher may store application settings, account session information, game instance information, downloaded files, configuration files, and diagnostic logs on the user's device.

Users may remove locally stored launcher data by uninstalling the application and deleting its associated local application data.

Children

Mystrix Launcher is not intended to independently collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. Where Microsoft or Minecraft accounts are used, those accounts are also subject to Microsoft's applicable account and family policies.

User rights and account deletion

Users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with their Mystrix account, subject to applicable legal and security requirements.

Third-party services

Mystrix Launcher may interact with third-party services required for its functionality. Use of Microsoft accounts, Minecraft services, and other third-party services is also governed by the privacy policies and terms of those providers.

Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated when Mystrix Launcher functionality or data practices change. The latest version will apply to future use of the application.
