Focus 10 — Privacy Policy

  Focus 10 is a Pomodoro focus timer for Windows. We respect your privacy and have built the app with a "no data
  collection" principle.

  What we collect

  Nothing. Focus 10 does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information, usage analytics, or telemetry. There
  are no accounts, no cloud sync, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party trackers.

  What is stored locally on your device

  The following data is stored only on your computer, in the application's private storage area, and is never transmitted off your device:

  - App preferences (theme, language, session/break length, alarm sound choice, accent colors).
  - Session statistics (total focus minutes, sessions per day for the past 7 days).
  - Your task list.
  - An optional custom alarm sound, if you choose one — the file is copied into the app's local folder.

  This data is removed when you uninstall the app, or you can clear it manually via Windows Settings → Apps → Focus 10 →
   Advanced options → Reset.

  Network usage

  Focus 10 does not make any network requests on its own.

  The app provides three user-initiated buttons that, when clicked, open external services in your default browser or
  mail client:

  - Rate and feedback — opens the Microsoft Store review page for Focus 10.
  - Contact me — opens your email client with a pre-filled "to" address.
  - Buy me a coffee — opens Ko-fi (ko-fi.com/mmedhat) in your browser.

  These services have their own privacy policies which apply once you leave Focus 10.

  Permissions

  Focus 10 declares the runFullTrust capability because it is a packaged Windows App SDK desktop application — this is a
   standard requirement of the WinUI 3 platform and does not grant the app access to any data beyond its own storage
  folder. The app declares the internetClient capability for future updates but does not currently make any network
  requests.

  Children

  Focus 10 does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

  Changes to this policy

  If this policy is updated, the new version will be published at the same URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
