# Privacy Policy for Sentinel Vault

## Privacy-First Design

Sentinel Vault is built with complete privacy. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your data.

## What We DON'T Do

- ❌ No data collection
- ❌ No internet connectivity
- ❌ No analytics or tracking
- ❌ No account registration
- ❌ No third-party sharing

## Your Data, Your Device

All data stays on your local device:

- **Vault Storage**: Files, passwords, and notes are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and stored locally in `~/.SentinelVault`
- **Settings**: App preferences saved locally only
- **Master Password**: Only you know it. We cannot recover lost passwords
- **Complete Control**: Delete anytime by uninstalling or using self-destruct

## Security Measures

- AES-256-GCM encryption for all sensitive data
- Scrypt key derivation for password protection
- Secure file deletion (overwrite)
- Auto-lock on inactivity
- Optional self-destruct trigger
