This Privacy Policy applies to the SecurityOne AI Guard desktop application (the "Application"). Because our core mission is your digital security and privacy, we have designed the Application to operate with strict data minimization principles.

2. Data Collection and Processing SecurityOne AI Guard operates entirely on your local device.

No Cloud Processing: We do not transmit, upload, or share your files, personal data, browsing history, clipboard contents, or scan results to any external servers or third-party cloud services.
Local AI Analysis: All artificial intelligence and heuristic analysis (including file scanning, memory monitoring, and threat detection) occurs strictly off-grid using local machine learning models embedded directly within the Application package.
3. Information the Application Accesses Locally To provide real-time endpoint protection, the Application requires read-only access to specific local system components while it is running on your machine:

Files and Directories: For scanning potential malware or unauthorized modifications.
Active Processes and Memory: For detecting advanced persistent threats or injected payloads.
Network Metadata: For monitoring open ports and connections (the payload of your network traffic is not inspected or stored).
Clipboard Content: For detecting and preventing the unauthorized extraction of PII (Personally Identifiable Information) or credentials. None of this data ever leaves your device. It is processed in memory and immediately discarded after the security evaluation is complete.
4. Telemetry and Analytics We do not use tracking pixels, analytics SDKs, or invasive telemetry mechanisms. The Application does not capture or send anonymous usage statistics or crash reports to our servers. Your use of the Application remains entirely private and contained within your hardware environment.

5. Third-Party Services The Application does not include third-party advertising, nor does it share any system telemetry with external marketing or data-broker entities.

6. User Rights and Data Retention Because we do not collect or store your personal data on our servers, there is no centralized data repository to delete. Any quarantine logs, scan histories, or threat reports generated by the Application are stored locally on your hard drive and can be deleted by you at any time directly through the Application's interface.

7. Changes to this Policy We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our software or legal requirements. Since the Application operates offline, any changes to this policy will only affect future versions of the Application downloaded from the Microsoft Store.
