Privacy Policy for Channel scope studio

Channel scope studio is a desktop application for microscopy image viewing, channel organization, rotation, cropping, measurement, annotation, and export.

Data collection
Channel scope studio does not collect, transmit, sell, or share users' personal information. The application does not use a developer-operated server, analytics service, advertising service, or cloud storage service.

User files
The application only opens image files and folders selected by the user. Image data is processed locally on the user's device. Exported images and project outputs are saved only to locations selected by the user.

Local settings
The application may store local preferences on the user's device, such as language, export settings, window layout, and recently used display options. These settings are used only to improve the local user experience and are not transmitted to the developer.

Microsoft Store purchases
Pro upgrade purchases and license checks are handled through Microsoft Store services. Payment, purchase history, Microsoft account information, and Store licensing are managed by Microsoft according to Microsoft's own privacy policies. Channel scope studio only checks whether the Pro add-on license is active.

Third parties
Channel scope studio does not share user files or personal information with third parties. Microsoft Store services may be used for app installation, updates, purchases, and license verification.

User control
Users can control which files are opened and where exported files are saved. Users may remove local settings by uninstalling the application or deleting the application's local data.

Children's privacy
Channel scope studio is intended as a professional/scientific imaging utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
