QuickFinder is a local file search, indexing, and organization application developed by MARDAR inc.

1. Data processed by the application

QuickFinder may process the following data locally on the user's device:

* file and folder paths;
* content of documents selected by the user for indexing;
* text extracted from PDF files, images, and other supported files using local text recognition;
* local application settings;
* local search index database.

2. Data transfer

QuickFinder does not transmit file contents, file names, file paths, search index data, or user settings to the developer's servers or to third parties.

All search, indexing, and text recognition operations are performed locally on the user's device.

3. File access

QuickFinder accesses only the folders and files selected or allowed by the user for indexing. The user can change the search scope and remove local index data through the application settings.

4. Data storage

Search index data and application settings are stored locally on the user's device. This data is used only to improve search performance and application functionality.

Uninstalling the application or clearing its data may remove local settings and the local search index.

5. Third-party services

QuickFinder does not use third-party analytics services, advertising trackers, or systems for collecting personal data.

6. Internet connection

The core features of QuickFinder do not require sending user files over the internet. If future versions introduce features that require network connectivity, this privacy policy will be updated.

7. Security

The developer takes reasonable measures to ensure that the application works locally and does not transfer the user's personal files without consent. The user decides which folders and files are included in the search scope.

8. Children

QuickFinder is not intended to knowingly collect data from children and does not intentionally collect personal data from users.

9. Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated if application features change. The current version of the policy applies to the current version of the application.
